Lawn Care

1- Fertilizer applications

Slow release fertilizer for the spring, summer and fall to improve the health of the lawn and improve the root growth of the grass.

2-Weed control

environmentally friendly new to control all the brood leaves weeds at you lawn and keep it healthy during the season.

3- Dethatching

Dethatching is a restorative service only recommend for lawns that suffer from an extremely thick thatch layer. Since dethatching causes extensive damage and is extremely labor intensive, this service will only be performed on lawns with with a thatch layer more than 3 inches thick.

Dethatching is best done in early spring. This allows the lawn plenty of time to recover before summer, but also avoids the rigours of Summer drought and heat.

4-Core Aeration

is the process of mechanically removing small cores of soil from the lawn using an aeration machine. The aeration machine is designed to penetrate the soil and remove small cores about 2-3” in depth about the same size as your index finger.

Core Aeration provides a number of benefits to your lawn, including:

  • improve water uptake
  • Stimulates new turf growth
  • Encourages deep healthy roots
  • Removes undesirable, excessive thatch layers
  • Reduces and relieves soil compaction
  • Helps eliminate drought stress
  • Increases the uptake of fertilizers and control products

Typically, the ideal time to have your lawn aerated is during Spring and Fall, when the lawn is actively growing.

5-Over Seeding

Overseeding is the planting of grass seed directly into existing turf, without tearing up the turf, or the soil. It’s an easy way to fill in bare spots, improve the density of turf, establish improved grass varieties and enhance your lawn’s color.

If a lawn looks old, or just “worn out,” if it needs growing amounts of water and fertilizer to thrive, or is disease or insect prone, it’s a perfect candidate for overseeding.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO OVERSEED?

Late summer or early fall is the best time to overseed lawns. Soil and atmospheric temperatures are most favorable for optimum seed germination and growth. With adequate moisture, fertilizer and sunlight, the new seedlings will be well established before cooler fall weather sets in. Also, weed competition is less of a factor at this time, giving the grass seedlings a better environment to grow and develop.
